Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Trippo, a mobile app that lets you sign in, upload photos or text, receive AI-generated travel commentary, and manage optional paid access features.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Trippo, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

If you use Trippo on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally able to use the app in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for your account, your sign-in credentials, and activity that happens under your account.

You agree to provide accurate sign-in information and to keep access to your device and account reasonably secure.

3. What Trippo Does

Trippo allows you to submit photos, text, travel context, and optional location information so the app can generate travel-related commentary and organize that content for later viewing or sharing.

Trippo is an informational and creative product. It is not a booking service, navigation tool, emergency service, professional travel advisor, or source of guaranteed factual accuracy.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Trippo, including photos, prompts, profile details, and related travel content.

You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, store, and display your content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the app.

  • You must have the rights needed to upload or share the content you submit.
  • You must not upload content that is unlawful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, or violates another person's privacy or publicity rights.
  • You are responsible for how you choose to share AI-generated outputs outside the app.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not misuse Trippo, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or reverse engineer the app except where prohibited by law, or use the app to violate any law or third-party right.

  • No illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive use.
  • No uploading malware, malicious code, or content intended to disrupt the service.
  • No attempts to bypass limits, security, payment controls, or account restrictions.

6. AI Output and Accuracy

Trippo uses third-party AI services to generate responses. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your specific situation.

You should use independent judgment before relying on any output for travel, safety, legal, financial, medical, or other high-stakes decisions.

7. Paid Features

Trippo may offer optional paid passes and other paid features purchased through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). All billing, taxes, and payment processing are handled by those platforms.

Paid passes are non-renewing — they provide access for a specific duration stated at the time of purchase and do not automatically renew. When a pass expires, a new purchase is required to continue access. Refunds and billing disputes are governed by the policies of the app store or payment platform you used.

Paid access may be modified, suspended, or discontinued as the app evolves. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any particular paid feature.

8. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, branding, software, and related materials are owned by Trippo or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited right to use the app under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the service or other users, or if the app is changed, discontinued, or no longer offered in your region.

You may stop using the app at any time. To permanently delete your account, use the account deletion option in the app settings.

10. Disclaimers and Liability Limits

Trippo is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties not expressly stated, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trippo and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, business, or opportunity arising from or related to your use of the app.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid to use Trippo during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted at this URL. Your continued use of Trippo after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

12. App Store Terms

If you download Trippo through Apple's App Store: (a) these Terms are between you and Trippo only, not Apple; (b) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, warranty, or product liability for Trippo; (c) Apple is not responsible for any claims you or any third party have relating to Trippo or your use of it; (d) if Trippo fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; and (e) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them against you.

If you download Trippo through Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Your use of Trippo must comply with the applicable app store's terms of service.
